Omg what can I say?! I was so skeptical. This thing WORKS!
I know how helpful pictures are for believability, so I’ll attach one! Don’t judge me, I had no idea what these were for the first couples of weeks. So yes they overran my house for a bit. But that is no longer! We are now free from the clutches of these nasty little 💩’s.I recently moved to Florida, and never in my life had I experienced so many (what I thought were gnats – I’m still unsure what the hell they actually are 😂). For the life of me I couldn’t figure out where the swarms of these pesky little things were coming from. I am originally from up north, where the only things that resemble them that we get are fruit flies. I couldn’t figure out why they were everywhere when none of my fruit was rotten or even remotely bad. Until I did some googling and found out these little demons are called Drain Flies. They live and breed in your drain, lay eggs and come out in SWARMS. I tried every remedy to kill them off. I cleaned my drains, I poured all kinds of chemicals down there. I googled every which way to kill their eggs, catch them. Tried the whole apple cider vinegar, water and soap trick. Where the apple cider vinegar is supposed to attract them, and the surface tension of the soap is supposed to get them stuck and they sink into the water below….noooope! Nothing worked. I’d still see them flying all over the place in my peripheral vision, and to top it off I now had a nasty little vinegar cup hidden in my corner smelling like dooky. I, like every other rational person, ran to Amazon for a solution. And I found LOTS of them. My first go to was going to be that light and fan thing, where the light attracts them and the fan supposedly sucks them in to their demise. I really didn’t care which one I purchased, as long as it worked. I saw the reviews and pictures of this one and figured I’d give it a go, and if this one didn’t work, I’d try the other one I mentioned.Day 1, the first few hours, it caught absolutely nothing. And I thought “greaaat. This thing isn’t going to catch anything and I’m gong to have to deal with this pests for another few days while I wait on another order”Day 2. I woke up, not expecting to find anything, and lo and behold, there were 10-15 flies on it. My prayers had been answered!Day 3. Not going to lie, I forgot I had it plugged inDay 4. I checked again, and this is what I found. The picture attached. Absolutely gross 🤢. Don’t ask, I have no idea how all these nasty little creatures lived in my sink without my knowledge. I must just be that blissfully unaware. I thought I only had a few…clearly I was wrongI’m on like Day 10 now. I waited awhile because I wanted to make sure it continued to work before posting this review. I haven’t seen another fly / gnat besides in the trap, since Day 4, nearly a week ago. Not one. However, the trap is still lit up, and still as sticky as it was on day 1.There is a faint blue glow, it’s a pretty pleasant. It’s just like a night light. It makes 0 noise whatsoever. It’s SO easy to remove and replace the sticky pad. You pull the stick piece up out of the part that attaches into the wall, and slide a new one in. So simple, yet so effective. If you’ve had these nasty little critters flying around your home for far too long now, try it. You won’t regret it. If it doesn’t work in the first spot you put it, move it around. These things supposedly come out of the drains, yet for some reason it catches far more in my bedroom outside the bathroom. So find what works for you. Also, it turns sideways if need be. So if you have a sideways plug, you can still plug it in and swivel it so it’s face up!I hope this review helps some of you choose this, and rid your life of these nasty little buggers!!

It gets the job done. Just a little pricy for how often you’ll need to keep it changed.
I’ve bought this once in April and just bought another. So it’s been about a month, I noticed it works immediately and gives the flying bugs somewhere to go instead of buzzing around. But after about 1week, I started to notice the little flying bugs again. I dislike the price for cart/refill but I appreciate the efficiency. Just know, you will need to keep some on hand so you can rotate as needed to really have it working consistently.

Actually works!
To start off, I have purchased this item several times. My place started to have fruit flies especially during the summer. I have tried so many other methods and it seemed like they didn’t really help. Someone at work told me that they use Zevo lights. To start off I had no clues what this was after doing some research I purchased a set to give it a try.Let me tell you within a week the Zevo light was full of fruit flies and other little bugs. This stuff definitely works.Pros: attracts basically any insects and traps them with the sticky insert. Lasts about 3-4 weeks I would say. Has a blue light that attracts the insects. Easy to use and even easier to replace inserts when it’s time. Also they are neutral looking so if guest come over nobody can see the gross insects it caught. Now that I’m thinking about it unless someone knows what it is, it looks like a plugged air freshener.Cons: honestly the only two cons I could think of is at night if you leave the Zevo lights plugged, and your eyes adjusts to the darkness. The light seems very bright, but I started to unplug them before bed so that fixes it. Lastly I wish the inserts lasted longer, they are still sticky about a month in but dust starts to settle on them and I think it’s not as sticky for the bugs.So overall I would recommend this product for your house if you are in need of an insect catcher.

Meh
Stuck it in a corner. Caught some smaller flying things which is nice. A spider even moved in for a bit. Didn’t catch anything like a house fly though. Those still have free reign. I guess the issue is that during the day there’s too much light and during the night the flies stop being active. So yes, it does catch some things, but no way is it gonna catch anything the size of a fly.Update: So finally it has caught some house flies. Like 5 of ’em. 85% of what it catches are still just the small things like tiny fruit flies and mosquitoes. But after like 2-3 weeks (I’m not keeping track, but a while) I checked and it caught some houseflies. But don’t count on it to be your savior–this is not a “plug it in and never have to worry ever again” product. There’s still tons of flies it DOES NOT catch, but it will occasionally get one or two.

GREAT PRODUCT that does exactly what it promises!
Great product that does exactly what it promises! I bought this fly trap gizmo, because of recurring gnats that would fly out of the kitchen garbage bin everytime I would pull the bag out for the trash! Disgusting and annoying things that would then flit around the rest of the house, being a general pain.Within an hour of plugging this in, though, I checked and had already caught THREE gnats! And by the end of the week, I looked and there had to have been over 25 of the little buggers trapped by the Zevo execution device! I love it!It’s silent, but deadly, has zero odor and — dare I say — actually looks good, with the cool blue lighting that draws the flying bugs in like moths to a flame. And it’s VERY easy to use… Just slip the cartridge in, peel off the protective backing, plug the small device into an outlet where the bugs will be attracted to it and walk away!Definitely worth the money, to avoid the headaches of bugs constantly being in your face!

Excellent insect trap!
Very impressed with this insect trap! When I purchased it, I didn’t know I had fruit flies. I had not seen any around my fruit dish or plant stand. I was just buying it after I read that fruit flies can come with or live in the soils of indoor plants. I have a kitchen plant stand with several plants so I thought I would try it. I plugged this unit in and 3 days later I had 18 fruit flies on it!!!! After 10 more days I have a total of 40 fruit flies trapped on it ! I am happy it works so well and grossed out at the same time!!! Love that the design of this hides the dead insects. Some of the “victims” are very tiny so I hope that means they were newly hatched. Will definitely buy another unit and some refill cartridges since I keep fruit & plants year round. I don’t normally see fruit flies until I have summer fruit (peaches) on the counters. Excellent fly attraction and easy to use. The cartridges are easy to remove and replace. Nice blue light!

good product
It was easy to set up and seems to be working well, although no insects caught yet. We have little problems with flying insects, but wanted this device to catch what we might not see.

Works fine
It took some time before it started to work. Placement is very important – it seems that it works better in a plug near a corner, although that could just be my experience. However, once I figured out the best place, it started to work fairly well. It’s not perfect, but it definitely minimized the problem.

Zero effort and works amazingly.
I had a fruit fly problem that popped out seemingly out of nowhere. Or maybe these aren’t fruit flies, I don’t know. But they randomly started hanging out in my bathroom and loved the light of my living room TV. It was SO annoying.I looked up some DIY solutions but I needed something quicker and don’t have any apple cider vinegar on hand. So I got this to see how well it worked.ONE SINGLE DAY. That’s all it took. Plugged it in overnight, left for work the next morning, came back, and haven’t seen a single fly since.ZEVO has earned a customer for life now. It says to change the filter every two weeks, but the flys essentially disappeared and haven’t come back. I only kept it plugged for about 4 straight days. Now I just will plug it back in when I need it. The two extra filters are wonderful to keep ready. I will buy more when I need to.What a perfectly done product with literally no effort.

I am become death, destroyer of fruit flies
So I had a fruit fly infestation, I’m not proud of it but I’m talking dozens of the little buggers flying around everywhere after a bad batch of bananas was forgotten on the counter while we went out of town.I got 2 sets of traps from Amazon, one was a 4-pack of red apples with “non-toxic bait” (apple cider vinegar cough, cough), and the other was this fancy, ultra marketed glow light I was sure was a rip off. 4 days later and my entire fruit fly problem is stuck to the side of this thing. The apples got maybe 4 flies total and this thing looks like a Bosnian mass grave from the 90’s.Buy it, plug it in as close to the swarm as you can and sit back laughing in your best Bond villain voice as they fly to their doom.
