Crowds turn out for Carla Zampatti and Tony Maticevski’s show

In the event that Sydney’s unpredictable weather decides to literally weigh down the Fashion Week parade, Carla Zampatti’s team sent in 900 umbrellas to ensure guests would be protected from the elements at the highly anticipated Monday evening show.

However, it was completely sunny when Australian Fashion Week officially kicked off on Monday morning at Kirribilli House, at a reception hosted by Jodie Hayden. She wore a floral dress by Romance Was Born. The same design label that made her wedding dress last year.
