A genuinely useful tool for staying on top of conversations and ideas

As a busy business person, I have a lot of conversations, ideas, and different threads of thought happening throughout the day. Pocket has been surprisingly helpful in keeping me organized and making sure important details don’t get lost.I had a few small issues connecting the device at the beginning, but after the initial setup it started working very well. I was also pleasantly surprised that it connects reliably even through my Spigen case, which is quite thick. Just in case, the product includes an extra magnet you can stick to your phone, which is a thoughtful addition.The device captures conversations really well, and the speaker diarization and summaries are excellent. This is where it becomes genuinely valuable for me: instead of trying to remember everything or dig through scattered notes, I can quickly review what was discussed, identify key points, and stay on top of follow-ups.I’m also a detail-oriented person and I really appreciate good design. Pocket fits beautifully with the iPhone — not only in how it looks and feels, but even the unboxing experience has a very Apple-like quality to it. It feels polished, intentional, and premium from the moment you open the box.I still need to try it with headphones, but so far I’m very happy with it. For anyone who has a busy schedule and needs help organizing conversations, meetings, and ideas throughout the day, Pocket is a very practical and impressive tool.

An AI assistant that actually understands your life
Super easy setup. It’s super lightweight and thin so I’m not annoyed having on my phone. I manage a large team and we’re expanding, so I’ve really appreciated having reminders of all the tasks I need to take care of. My favorite feature is the “Actions” tab that takes all of the action items from my meetings and has them in one place so I don’t miss anything assigned to me. I love being able to ask questions and it has all of the context from meetings and conversations so it has actual useful insight.

Priced for, but not ready for release
I really wanted to love Pocket. Cheaper and smaller than Plaud with promise of no subscription. I used it for a week before returning. I used it 12 times. It worked 4 out of those 12 and did a pretty good job though the summary was far from perfect but usable at jogging my memory. As for the other 8 times I used it, I got sync errors or the transcription “had no words”. Very disappointing. Also you get a lot of ads trying to get you pay for a subscription. I will say their customer service was quick to respond to say “they ha the glitch sorted” and that an update was available for IOS but not yet for android. This told me 2 things. 1 The problem was wide spread not just me and 2 the product was not ready for public release(they didn’t even have a fix for android). They tout the product k as a polished solution and priced it as such, but at best it’s still in alpha testing. I returned it and the moment my credit hit purchased Plaud.

Honestly i had such a great experience with this device from the moment it arrived. They put so much effort into the whole product design, even when unboxing it. It’s definitely apple level quality. The hardware itself as well, super high quality finish and just feels and looks nice.The onboarding was super easy too and it really detects all your spoken words as promised. The app comes with a nice summary function and smart reminders for when to switch the recording on (i.e. before meetings)… I am very stoked to keep using this tool and am puzzled why no one else came up with this idea earlier. Should be an apple native product, and it certainly feels like apple made this.5 Stars! Love it!

The new standard for note taking in 2026
I’ve been using my Pocket for about a week now. I work at a tech company in sales and this has been a game changer. My client calls are all recorded, so I don’t need to worry about those, but remembering everything from internal meetings has been nearly impossible – until I found Pocket AI!I’ve been able to reference meetings and remember what action steps are relevant to me. I also find it incredibly useful when I’m brainstorming on walks and car rides by myself. I use it to organize ideas I have and get them from my brain into writing.Overall, I’ve been quite impressed with my Pocket and I’d recommend it to anyone who has a lot of conversations, has a lot on their plate, and/or has a lot of ideas but struggles to remember them. I can’t even begin to imagine how helpful this would’ve been in university for notes during lectures. Great product!

Language
I really love the the ease of being able to record conversations that you sometimes can’t grab fast enough by setting up teams. I also like the fact that it doesn’t stop recording even when your phone rings or notification pops up. What I really want them to improve is the sophistication of the language. ChatGPT has very sophisticated language. Pocket uses words like “weird” and things that shouldn’t be in professional summaries. I love the device. I just want the programmers to create more sophistication in the transcription of the summaries.

Simple, yet impactful!
Super cool little recorder! Love it for travel. The mag safe is a nice touch. Easy to set up and use. It does a good job capturing notes and information so you don’t have to take the time to write everything down. I use it for internal meetings, but I also think this would be a great tool for college classes. Well worth the money.

If you hate notetaking…
This thing is great for Sales. I literally press record summarizes the conversation and it doesn’t miss any details copy and paste that directly into my AI and I get a email response as a follow up based on our conversation it takes all the hassle away from trying to memorize it. Make notes and allow allows. You to be in the moment with the person that you’re talking with during meetings it’s very normal for you to have your phone out and it’s super discreet where you can actually just press it and talk to to have the meeting. I’m sure there’s some laws about recording without somebody’s permission in certain states but you know that’s only if you’re trying to utilize that for something else I only created so I can make sure to memorize everything that went on in the meeting.

It just works, I’ve stopped taking notes!
I’ll admit at first I was a bit skeptical about this, and I’ve tried all competitors like Plaud. First off, the design of this one looks the best, I’ve had a couple of people ask what’s on the back of my phone and it feels very premium. Most importantly to me though, it just works. I feel extremely confident that I can let this record my meeting and I’ll get a summary and action items taken care of for me afterwards.Something I wasn’t expecting was how good the AI is. I can literally ask it “What did my wife tell me to grab at the store” and it just finds it! This thing is crazy good.It’s quite lightweight and I always know when it’s recording thanks to a little vibration, but other than that it’s silent. If this thing was double or triple the price I’d still buy it.
